COVID SAFETY 

Arrival of clients to the float spa.
Clients will be asked to arrive at their allocated time slot. Not early or late.
Clients will be asked to come at a time that doesn’t clash with The Float Spa customers.
Clients will be asked to maintain the 1 metre distancing throughout their visit to the Float Spa. This will include the cloak room which will be checked and monitored before they enter.
Clients will be asked to arrive alone, there will be only one person in the treatment room and no one is permitted to use the waiting area. Strictly one in one out protocol.
Prior to the visit to the Float Spa.
All clients will be sent a reminder by text when booking their treatment, that they should not attend if they have covid-19 symptoms they are:
  • Dry persistent cough
  • Fever
  • Loss of taste
  • Diarrhoea and sickness
During the clients visit.
Refreshments.
Clients will not be offered drinks, they will be advised to bring their own refreshments, but will need to dispose of their cup once they have left.
Washing or Hands
Clients will be required on entering the treatment room to wash their hands and place waste in the clinical waste bin provided.
Clear instructions based on the world health organisation’s on the safe method of hand washing will be displayed.
Wear a mask
Clients will be required to wear a mask on arrival at the The Float Spa, they will be required to wear it when face up during massage. They will be encouraged to use a reusable/washable one.
I will be using full PPE that includes a visa, mask and apron throughout the client treatment.
The Float Spa will be checking your temperature using a non-touch thermometer.
Treatment Room cleanliness and hygiene measures.
All surfaces will be cleaned with a Barbicide anti-infection solution before, in between and after all clients.
A 15 minute gap will be given in between all clients for cleaning and disinfecting the treatment room.
Clean towels will be used for each client
The couch will be covered with disposable paper couch roll.
All skin care products, bottles and tubes will be cleansed with anti-bac wipes before, after and in between clients.
Products will be stored in a cabinet.
Therapist personal hygiene measures.
Lorraine will change into work wear at The Float Spa and wear an apron during the treatment time.
Education and updates.
Lorraine has completed the Dermalogica clean touch training and has been certified.
Updates will be done annually.
*The Float Spa and Lorraine Hart Skin Care Expert have the right to refuse treatment if the client does not stick to the above conditions.

Recommendations – Recommend a client to me and as a thank-you you will both receive 20% off any facial of your choice, please ask for a recommendation card.

Loyalty Cards – I operate a loyalty card scheme, your card will be signed when £20 is spent on either treatments or products, when the card is full you will get £20 off a treatment or products. Please ask for a card if you don’t already have one.

Cancellations – Please give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment or the full cost of the treatment will be charged if we cannot fill your time slot. Late arrivals may result in a reduced treatment time.

Courses – Courses are available on all treatments. As an incentive to you to purchase, I offer 6 treatments for the price of 5. Courses must be paid for in advance and need to be taken within 12 months.

Bookings and Payments – Clients wishing to book treatments that are 2 hours or more in duration may be asked to pay a 50% deposit up front to secure the booking. I accept cash and all major credit cards. (Except American Express)

Arrival – Please arrive at your appointment time in order for me give you my full attention to you, I may be with a client should you arrive early.

Mobile Phones – For you to relax and get the most from your treatment time you are asked to put your mobile phone onto silent for the duration of your time in the treatment room.

Health and Safety – Due to health and Safety reasons I am unable to treat children under the age of 12.

Sensitive Skin – You may be required to sign a disclaimer if you have a history of reactions due to sensitive skin.

Gift Vouchers – Gift Vouchers can be purchased and redeemed against any treatment or products; they are non-refundable and must be used within 12 months of purchase.
